Since March 2010, all normative documents defining the performances of 500 MHz cabling systems are ratified and published. Whereas designations and performances have been almost identical until now, for the first time these new ratifications show significant differences between ISO/EN and TIA. Previously, for Cat5e and Cat6, TIA/ISO/EN were interchangeable with no significant differences in performance. With Cat6A/Class Ea, this is no longer true.

In this White Paper :

- EIA/TIA and ISO : an in-depth look at the major differences

- Cat6A networks in Europe : why is ISO being favoured ?

- What is the choice between a U/FTP or F/FTP cable for a more efficient installation, even over short distances ?
